The program serves meals and snacks that meet U.S.D.A. requirements for the nutritional and dietary needs and feeding requirements for each child including those with disabilities. The parents/guardians will receive a copy of our menus in the monthly newsletter. This menu includes breakfasts, lunches and snacks.
Infants will be fed on their own schedule. Parents/guardians will provide us with a schedule of feeding times and the amount of food to be fed. The program will provide formula, jar food, and cereal to parents/guardians who wish to participate in our nutrition program. Parents/guardians who chose not to participate will provide their own formula, jar food, and cereal, which will be stored according to package directions. Teachers and parents/guardians will communicate when and how the child will be introduced to table food. Infants will be held when bottle fed. All staff receive training on the U.S.D.A recognized nutrition requirements and food choking hazards.
